Description
Cystophan Urinary For Cat
Cystophan Urinary Capsules For Cats (30 capsules) are chicken-flavoured supplements that promote urinary health in cats.
Cats need a healthy urinary tract to stay healthy. Your cat's urinary health can be affected by interactions between several body systems, including the bladder and nervous system. A cat's mental state can also be affected by external influences in today's busy world.
Healthy bladders are coated with glycosaminoglycan (GAG). GAG protects the bladder from direct contact with urine. The brain perceives urine as uncomfortable when sensory nerve fibres are activated. Cystophan helps maintain the protective glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer of the bladder. Moreover, it contains L-tryptophan, which is used by the brain to make serotonin, the happy hormone.
- GAGs are built with N-acetyl D-glucosamine.
- Hyaluronic acid is one of the main components of the protective GAG layer lining the bladder.
- Serotonin is synthesized from L-tryptophan, the happy hormone.
- A chicken flavor enhances palatability and compliance.
