Adaptil® is a synthetic analogue of canine appeasing pheromone, which has a comforting and reassuring role in both puppies and adult dogs. Adaptil® is recommended for the control and management of fear and/or stress-related behaviours in puppies and adult dogs including separation anxiety, destructive behaviour, vocalisation, house-soiling, hypersalivation and excessive licking, sleep disorders, feeding problems and phobias such as fear of thunderstorms and fireworks. Adaptil® can also help dogs be more responsive to behavioural therapy and training. 

Adaptil Collars aid in alleviating signs associated with fear and stress in dogs and puppies. These stressful situations can include:

• Moving house.

• Visits to vets.

• Adoption.

• Fear of noises eg thunderstorms, fireworks.

When the Adaptil collar is in snug contact with the dog's skin, the dog's body temperature warms the collar and encourages the diffusion of pheromones into the local environment. It is vital the Adaptil Collar is in close contact with the dog’s skin at all times.

Two sizes of collar are available for puppy/small dogs (fits neck up to 15 in) and medium/large dogs (fits neck up to 25 in). Each collar lasts 4 weeks and can be replaced as required.

Directions for use

• Pass the loop through the end.

• Pass the loop over the head.

• Adjust to fit snugly and trim excess if necessary.

• Check the collar at regular intervals. It must remain snug against the dog's neck.

• The Adaptil collar should last 4 weeks.
