Trifexis (Panoramis Chewable Tablets for Dogs Description:

Trifexis, also known as Panoramis Chewable Tablets for Dogs, are a meat flavoured tablet that rapidly kills fleas on dogs, prevents heartworm disease and treats roundworm, hookworm and whipworm in dogs and puppies. Trifexis (Panoramis) starts to kill fleas within 30 minutes of administration and then goes on to prevent flea infestations for a further month. The chewable meat flavoured tablet is readily accepted by dogs and as the product is an oral medication there are no restrictions with regards to swimming or washing after treatment.  Trifexis (Panoramis) comes in 5 convenient sizes for dogs between 5 and 120 lbs in weight. Panoramis is registered for the control of flea allergy dermatitis in dogs. In the US this product is known as Trifexis, outside of the USA it is known as Panoramis. Please note the product you will receive will be branded Panoramis.

Spinosad;  Milbemycin Oxime

Directions of Use
Trifexis (Panoramis) tablets are administered orally once a month at the recommended dosage. Trifexis (Panoramis) should be given with food. Dogs between 5 and 10lbs are given one 140 mg tablet from the pink box each month. Dogs between 10.1 and 20lbs are given one 270 mg tablet from the orange box each month. Dogs between 20.1 and 40lbs are given one 560 mg tablet from the green box each month. Dogs between 40.1 and 60lbs are given one 810 mg tablet from the blue box each month. Dogs between 60.1 and 120lbs are given one 1620 mg tablet from the brown box each month.

Do not use in puppies less than 8 weeks of age. Keep out of reach of children. Do not administer to cats or other species of animal. Give this medication with food. Do not treat pregnant or lactating bitches or dogs with pre-existing epilepsy, unless on the advise of a veterinarian. The safe use of this product on breeding male dogs has not been evaluated. Trifexis (Panoramis) may be safely administered to dogs in conjunction with topical tick treatments and collars. Do not administer if your dog is on high doses of ivermectin or other macrolytic lacyone heartworm medications. Your dog should be free of heartworm before starting on this product. It is recommended that dogs be tested for heartworm if there is a possibility that they may have a pre-existing heartworm infestation.

Possible Side Effects
Side effects of Trifexis (Panoramis) are rare in dogs and are considered mild. The most common side effect in dogs is vomiting, pruritis (itchy skin), decreased appetite, lethargy and diarrhea. Reactions are usually short lived and decrease with repeat dosing. Puppies under the age of 14 weeks may have an increased rate of vomiting.
